Scouts Australia Victoria involves boys and girls aged 6 – 26 in the Scout Program where they engage in peer to peer mentoring and healthy, outdoor adventurous and activities. Through Scouts, young people gain confidence in themselves, learn problem solving, risk management as well as life and leadership skills.
Help develop Scouts to become healthy, active citizens, business leaders and role models in their local community.
Volunteer roles include assisting with activities, helping to fundraise, providing transport, helping with maintenance at the Scout Hall, assisting with food preparation and joining the Group Committee and/or assisting with administration.
Adult volunteers can also choose to undertake training and become an Assistant Leader or a Leader with one of the Sections: Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers.
